Get sized for cycling success
The Frog MTB 69 mountain bike is suitable for 10 to 12 years with a recommended inside leg measurement of 63cm-75cm.
One of the biggest temptations is to buy a child’s bike that they will grow into. However, this will likely have the opposite effect and put your child off cycling altogether! Another common mistake is to purchase a budget kids’ bike but these models are often as heavy as a child which can lead to frustration. That’s why Frog bikes are lightweight and designed to specifically accommodate the anatomy of children.
The data obtained during our child-specific frame design research has helped us create a helpful kids’ bike sizing app. View our bike sizing guide to discover the best-sized bike for your child or alternatively speak to one of our local stockists about our children’s bike range.

Frog Bikes
is a British company specializing in lightweight, high-quality bicycles designed specifically for children aged 1 to 14. Founded in 2013 by Jerry and Shelley Lawson, the company emerged from their personal quest to find suitable bikes for their own children. Collaborating with sports scientists at Brunel University and renowned bicycle engineer Dimitris Katsanis, Frog Bikes developed child-specific bike geometry, ensuring comfort and efficiency tailored to young riders.
In 2016, Frog Bikes relocated its manufacturing from China to a 120,000 sq ft facility in Pontypool, Wales, enhancing quality control and reducing lead times. The company has received support from the Welsh Government and was honored with the Queen’s Award for International Trade in 2018. Today, Frog Bikes operates in over 56 countries, with exports accounting for more than half of its turnover.
Committed to sustainability
Frog Bikes joined the Race to Zero campaign in 2021, aiming to reduce emissions by 50% by 2030 and achieve net-zero emissions by 2050. Their product range includes balance bikes, hybrid bikes, mountain bikes, and road bikes, all designed with lightweight aluminum frames and child-specific components. Notably, Prince Louis was seen riding a Frog balance bike on his first day of nursery in 2021, highlighting the brand’s popularity and reputation for quality
